In the University of East Anglia’s School of Psychology, we are lucky to have access to state of the art equipment forĀ neuroimaging studies.
Functional Neuroimaging
We are very excited by the recent opening of the UEA Brain Imaging Centre (UBIC) which contains a state of the art 3T Siemens Prisma. The School also has access to dedicated research time on a state of the art 3 Tesla scanner located in the adjacent Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital (NNUH) where we have conducted several recent projects. We also have used the excellent facilities in Maastricht, Netherlands (Scannexus, Maastricht Brain Imaging Centre) where myself and several of our PhD students have scanned several projects on the 3T Siemens Prisma (see image above).
EEG
In our School of Psychology here at UEA, researchers have access to a BrainAmp MR 64 Channel EEG System. We have used this system in several recent lab projects including investigating cross-modal responses present in specific oscillatory frequency bands.
